Since you are someone familiar with AWS and DevOps would be great if you can share your thoughts on our Product SetOps designed to simplify hosting for developers 👉 we are launching next week and your support would be great if you find the product interesting 👍
I had a look at SetOps. Great work by the way, I can appreciate all the hard work that has gone into it. My first impressions: - I like the concept. That I can provision infra and deploy my app in the same abstraction layer. - Provisioning resources via the CLI is feels clunky to me. Eg. It takes two commands to create and link a database to my app. I would prefer to do it in a more declarative way such as via a config file. - In curious what kinds of resources it'll create on AWS and I wonder what my monthly bill will be like. Maybe you could provide some estimates? - Can't seem to find the details on how to deploy to my own AWS account
Hello everyone! I finally joined PH although I've been coming here for years. Usually some new product brought me here. I've been developing software for a long time and still find it fun and interesting. I guess I was lucky not to be stuck with a crappy job, yet 😎 I'm currently working on an educational game - not sure if it's a game or learning first. For any software development contact me. These days I'm into browser 3D (WebGL) and VR/AR. Tomorrow who knows.
