how do you want to share a skill?
by•
Whenever I search for a skill.MD file for a relevant skill there are tons of Github repositories that I find and none of them actually become useful to me because most of them have AI slop and actual hardcoded instruction which is necessary is somewhere buried in line 12 or 13 and the plug-in comes with a bunch of more files which I can swear I have never read.
What is the best way to share a skill that can be plugged to agentic workflows? And is anybody monetising this already?
With most of the skills that I find online, there is no true sense of ownership and most of them lack authenticity!!

I'd definitely pay for a skill if I knew it was tested totaly and maintained by the real creators.
This is exactly the problem I keep running into. A 20 line skill buried inside a 500 line repo isn’t really a skill, it’s a scavenger hunt 😂
I think the mi3ssing piece is provenance. Who made the skill, what was it tested against, and what problem does it actually solve?
I’d pay for a skill that I knew was battle tested and maintained. I definitely wouldn't pay for another repo containing 14 files and a README saying “just give this to your agent” 😅
