How do you lock your messaging before a launch?

Messaging is always the thing that trips us up before a launch. even when you are about to go live you are still 50/50 on whether it will land. Then deadline hits, it ends up being gut, you take it live and spray and pray. how do you guys actually validate it and get some confidence? happy to learn whatever works for you.

For Top10Q pre-launch I stopped chasing one perfect headline and wrote three one-line options, then asked two beta users which sounded like a daily planner vs a todo app — the mismatch told me more than another rewrite.
