Does Product Hunt's filter just not trust new engagement yet?

Been noticing something odd lately. Some comments go live instantly, others just sit there, even when they're genuinely written, relevant to the thread, and not remotely spammy. No pattern I can pin down around length, timing, or wording.

Makes me wonder if it's less about the comment itself and more about the account behind it, like whether the system trusts a profile based on age, past activity, or engagement history before it lets new comments through instantly.

Curious if others have noticed a specific time of day, day of week, or type of thread where comments seem to go live faster. Also wondering if this is purely automated filtering, or if there's some manual review happening behind the scenes on certain threads.
