Are there any particular women who have inspired you, and if so, how have they influenced your life?

The women in my family have set the benchmark for me; right from my grandmother to taught herself to read and write while teaching the youngest of her 5 kids to my mom who pushed away family pressures of marrying her daughters young and ensured that all her girls were financially independent before they made this decision.

My role models are definetly strong women in family like my mother and my grandma. Other than that Frida Kahlo :)

I peeked at the responses before writing mine - and I totally have to agree my mom is one of my biggest inspirations. More recently I've been inspired by Leila Hormozi. Her content is golden! I admire her work ethic, honesty, and energy.

As a creator and a newsletter writer, I'm really inspired by Anne-Laure (@anthilemoon) & Steph Smith (@stephsmith). Both of these incredible women put out high-quality content, are amazing people and ship things that make people's lives better.

That would be my first boss, that taught me what leadership actually is. I was very lucky to have her as my lead, as it showed my what type of person I want to be at a very young age. And then, my first mentor, also a woman. What started as discussions on project management, evolved to me seeing more clearly what I actually want to do (build). @melikekerpel_art and I agree with you that achieving success for women was even harder before! I'm very happy to see this changing more and more.

For me, its my mom. My dad died of health issues when I was 7 and she never remarried and raised me on her own. I see her as the strongest and resilient personality I know. Also, she is an exemplary figure I look up to when life throws a fireball at me be it at work or life in general I stay optimistic and sail through it. I think thats all from her.
