Apps you can't live without on Mac?

by
Hey hey!! I want to find some productivity tools to improve my workflow and trying to search for a good clipboard history tool for Mac, have any of you used anything like this? and while we're at it anything else you can't live without? For me, I love using: - ColorSlurp, to be able to copy colours from anywhere - Magnet, to be able to work with sticky windows of all sizes - KeepingYouAwake, which leaves the macbook awake no matter what

definitely maccy for a clipboard manager! bonus points because it supports images and pinned messages too. raycast — i can't live without raycast (much better than alfred) espanso is also neat, a lovely text expander with lots of options. karabiner for remapping keyboards! i make it so that i can hit function keys without pressing fn while gaming, and also remapped my caps lock to backspace :) arc all the way as browser

I'm surprised no one mentioned my two favorite ones: - BetterTouchTool - automate everything - Tailscale - easy and secure virtual private networks Also Obsidian, 1Password, Lunar, EasyRes.

Path Finder, my favorite files app on any platform. Also included with a Setapp subscription.

I'm currently on the Free Trial of Pasty for clipboard history. It's good enough for me that I will probably buy a lifetime license for US$22. The same Developer has a Window Manager called Lasso which I enjoy using to resize and arrange windows on my MacBook Air.

@scottrogers I would check out PateBot (https://tapbots.com/pastebot) before committing to Pasty. Personally I haven't found anything that beats PasteBot.

@bertus thanks ... will try PasteBot now

@scottrogers PasteBot has been my go-to for three years, although I've tried every alternative I could get my hands on. The conclusion that I've reached is that PasteBot isn't as shiny as its competitors, but packs a strong punch once you get the flow down.

Cannot compute without the following! 😅 CleanShot X - the ultimate screen-anything! (Setapp) Pastebot - the ultimate clipboard manager! TextSniper - screengrab to text. Pure genius! (Setapp) Meeter - the best meeting menu bar app out there. (Setapp)
