Amazon affiliate builders — what niche are you actually working on right now? (I'll go first)

I've been building Amazon affiliate / review sites for years, and something I keep noticing: we all quietly grind on our own sites and almost never compare notes with each other.

So let's fix that. I'll start.

Right now most of my time goes into a small review site in the watches niche. A few things I've learned the hard way:

- The niche matters more than anything else combined. I've picked good ones and terrible ones — and no amount of effort saves a category stuck at the bottom of Amazon's rate card.

- It's not "passive income." It's a hundred small, unglamorous tasks: keeping reviews current, checking links, chasing the boring stuff nobody posts about.

- The 24-hour cookie and the occasional commission cut still sting every single time.

But honestly? I still like it. There's something satisfying about an asset that's genuinely yours and quietly does its job.
