A folding iPhone means one more screen size to support?

Apple folded the iPhone in half, and my first thought wasn't "nice", it was "so now there's a third layout".
I was already arguing with myself last week about whether our launch images survive a phone screen. Now there's a shape that's a phone, then suddenly isn't. Half of me thinks this is fine, we've had tablets forever and nobody rebuilds anything. The other half has seen enough layouts break at one odd breakpoint to know somebody will spend a week on this.
Are you planning to do anything about it, or waiting to see if enough people actually buy one?

On the Mac apps I work on this changes nothing, but the browser tool I put out a couple of weeks ago is one page holding a file picker and a progress bar, which is exactly the kind of layout that folds badly. I am not rebuilding for a phone almost nobody owns yet. I am just checking that the one button you actually need stays reachable at any width.
That third layout thought hit too me. In practice inner screen behaves like a small iPad so autolayout saves you. I would still check your onboarding illustrations now. What would break first in your app?
