I love Geckoboard. We use it not only to power two big beautiful screens in our offices to share important metrics about our business but I also load them up in my Tesla Model 3 and via our Intranet and on the go (in Navo) to stay on top of how the business is doing. Super easy to customize.

Can you create a dashboard from several google sheet tabs and then share that dashboard as a template to others?

Create a dashboard from several Google Sheet tabs: yep, that's possible! There's no way to turn a dashboard into a template for others at the moment though. Can see how they would be useful though, and we'll have a think about that. Thanks for the question!
Also does gecko do dynamic gradient heatmaps using google sheet as a data source?
