gather. - make plans, not chaos.

Planning a hangout shouldn't take 47 messages. "gather." is the social scheduling app that ends the "when are you free?" group chat loop. Connect your Google Calendar, propose a few times, invite your friends - everyone votes, the best time wins, and the event is confirmed. Done. No more back-and-forth. No more dropped plans. Just made plans. Friends don't need to download the app to respond, they vote from a link in their browser. Free. iOS.

I built “gather.” because plans kept getting dragged out in whatsapp, trying to plan something with a group of friends and watching it explode into 50,60 messages with no plan even close. "Does Friday work?" "Not for me." "Saturday?" "Maybe, let me check." …yap yap yap. It's a structural problem: calendar apps are built for work, not social life. Group chats have no memory, no commitment, no way to see who's actually free. So I built “gather.” to fix all three at once, real Google Calendar integration, group time voting, venue voting on a live map, and push notifications when the plan is confirmed. Friends can join and vote without downloading the app, using the free web app, with identical functionality A somewhat hidden feature - Photo Moments, is a great plus, at any point during your event, everyone gets a simultaneous notification to take a photo. The group photo gallery is revealed 2 minutes later. It captures the real plan in action. WWould appreciate any feedback on this, and please let me know of any gaps/issues/improvements you see - Thanks!
