gapcheck - Keep your gap year on track, with friends

Hi Product Hunt, I built Gap Check because a gap year is meant to be one of the best years of your life, but it’s easy for it to slip away. There’s no timetable, no one checking in, and your friends are busy at uni or work. Weeks go by with plans you meant to start. Most gap year sites only list programmes. I wanted something that helps you actually use the year, day by day: • Set your goals and weekly targets in two minutes • A two-minute check-in each evening, with streaks so you keep showing up • Your crew: friends who can see you’ve checked in and keep you going • Real working holidays, volunteering and paid placements, checked against official sources It’s free for UK gap years (16+), with an optional Plus that adds an AI coach, deadline alerts and a weekly update for parents.
