Gamepad Pro: Key Mapper - Your controller plays touch-only Android games (no root)

by•
Android games are mostly touch-only, so your controller sits there. Gamepad Pro turns its buttons, both sticks and L2/R2 into taps on screen — a separate layout for every game. Drag each control where it should press, save, launch from the app. No root, no PC, no ADB. Made for shooters, MOBA, racing and open-world games where you move and aim at once. Free: 2 layouts per game, 3 games, with ads. One-time Pro removes the ads and unlocks the rest. 500,000+ installs, 24 languages.

Touch-only is still the default on Android. Your controller connects, Android sees it, and the game ignores it. Gamepad Pro turns those button presses into taps on the screen, so the pad you already own works in games that were never going to support it. The part I care about is what happens when it goes wrong. Android's accessibility service can read button presses but not analog movement, so sticks and L2/R2 also need the Gamepad Pro keyboard enabled. It has no typing UI, it only reads axes, and it hands your keyboard back when mappings stop. Aggressive battery savers on some brands will still kill the service in the background, and the app tells you which setting to change. A handful of games block simulated taps or run anti-cheat, and those will never work. A few controllers report buttons in ways Android does not label, so a key you expect may simply never be detected. Two things worth knowing before you upvote: this needs a physical controller, and it needs the accessibility service switched on. Without both, there is nothing to show you. What I would like to hear: which game made you look for something like this, and which controller are you using? The second one decides what I fix first.
