Gaido - Explore beyond the tourist traps

Hey Product Hunters! My name is Jack Lozyniak and I am the founder of Gaido. With Gaido (the Japanese word for guide), our end goal is to connect locals and travelers. Through our app, users can discover curated recommendations from local experts on places to eat, things to do, and nightlife options, and book authentic experiences (in-person tours and virtual itinerary consultations to help with trip planning) within our network of over 25 tour guides. Although there are numerous travel-related websites and guide marketplaces, we believe there is a lack of resources that offer a local's perspective on the best way to visit their city. Our mission is to introduce travelers to new cultures, experiences, and perspectives while promoting responsible tourism. We are currently operating in Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, Seville, Porto, Lisbon, Mexico City, Hanoi, and Tokyo, and are in the process of adding many more cities.
