FYN - One money ledger for every AI you use
by•
FYN is personal finance with one ledger for you and your AI tools.
Link banks once on Pro. FYN categorizes transactions, keeps budgets and bills current, and turns receipts into line items. Ask FYN in-app, or connect Claude, ChatGPT, Grok Bot or any MCP client for a read-only view. FYN never moves money.
Free forever: receipts, tap-to-pay and email ingest, Ask FYN. Pro: Plaid bank sync, higher limits.
Households share one workspace. iOS, Android, web.

Hey Product Hunt. I'm Brian, maker of FYN.
This week the banks-vs-agents story hit Axios, then USA Today, CNBC, Reuters, and local stations like KSDK: people handing bank logins to AI agents, and major banks blocking them. That is exactly why I built FYN.
FYN talks to your agents and keeps them out of your bank account, and out of trouble with the bank. Link banks on Pro once through Plaid. Agents (Claude, ChatGPT, Grok Bot, any MCP client) get a read-only view you approve and can revoke. No bank password to the model. FYN never holds or moves money.
I modernized Fed Treasury apps and enabled AI at Mastercard. Now I'm reimagining personal finance for agents.
What's live: free plan with receipts, email ingest, and Ask FYN on iOS and Android; Pro with Plaid; read-only MCP at https://mcp.fyn.fyi. Monarch and others also ship AI/MCP connectors. Our bet is the shared ledger, free tier, and the read-only agent path, not "only MCP finance app."

Feedback welcome on the MCP connect flow and whether free vs Pro is clear. I'll be in the thread today.
