Yesterday afternoon at 4:30 I challenged my brother to a Misogi. Head to the beach. Swim to the point. Run back. 1. A 50/50 in my eyes. 2. I could bail to the shore if I needed to. - In the water at 5 pm. - Brother bailed at 5:05 pm. - Stung by a jellyfish at 5:40 pm. - Out of the water at 5:45 pm. - I ran back to the start. - Clocked in at 6 pm. Takeaways: What you think is a 50/50 often isn't. Obstacles are natural. I am capable of more. I challenge myself with a new 'misogi'.
