Building a social app that actually talks to your car. Gimmick or game-changer? 🚗⚡️

Hey PH community! 👋

My team and I are gearing up to launch FrunkFriends a private, bot-free social network exclusively for Tesla owners.

While building it, we realized a standard feed wasn’t enough. So, we integrated live vehicle telemetry. Users can share their real-time battery level, tire pressure, and even what music is currently playing in their car directly to their social feed.

We think it adds a whole new layer of authenticity to sharing road trips and EV tips, but I’m curious to hear from other makers:

Do you think integrating live hardware data into a social feed is the future of niche networks, or does it feel like feature bloat?

Would love to hear your thoughts as we polish things up before our launch!
