FrontLine Lyrics - Synchronized music lyrics in a transparent Windows overlay.

FrontLine Lyrics is an open-source desktop application that brings live, time-synced lyrics straight to your screen. It listens to your system's audio to automatically identify the currently playing song (working seamlessly with Spotify, YouTube, or any media player) and displays the lyrics in a borderless, and transparent floating window. Built with a hybrid Python and C# architecture, it features manual sync controls, on-the-fly translation, and a privacy-first local audio loopback.

Hi! 👋 I'm Julio, the creator of FrontLine Lyrics. The spark for this project came from a very specific frustration. I was watching the Lollapalooza live streams on my PC and desperately wanted to sing along to the performances, but I didn't know all the words. I realized I wanted a "universal subtitle" for my computer, something that could display synchronized lyrics right over the live video, no matter what app, website, or player I was using. Beyond just singing along, I wanted to instantly understand music videos and performances in languages I didn't speak, without ever having to take my eyes off the screen or switch tabs to search for translations. Since nothing out there did exactly this, I built it. FrontLine Lyrics uses local audio loopback to "listen" to your system's audio, identifies the song, and renders time-synced lyrics in a transparent, click-through desktop overlay. Key Features: - The Universal Subtitle: Works seamlessly over YouTube live streams, Spotify, Apple Music, or local video players. - Live Translation: Understand any song in real-time (translates to EN, ES, PT-BR) without losing the beat. - Interactive Sync: Is the live performance slightly off from the studio track? Just click a lyric line to instantly correct the timing. - Privacy-First: Open-source and uses purely local audio loopback. No tracking. This is my first official launch on the Microsoft Store! I'd love to hear your feedback, bug reports, or feature ideas. I'll be here all day answering questions!
