Some of the updates include: - Font activation - Nested folders support - Improved collections management - Automatic sync - Huge performance improvements - Updated UI - Updated website You can read about all the changes here: http://fontba.se/updates I will be glad to answer any questions you have!

@dominiklevitsky UI is nice and simple but it's very fuzzy on retina screens.
Dominik Levitsky
@kirstyatx Sorry for that. Seems to be a bug. W'll try to fix that as soon as possible!

Why is this free?

Some kind of categorisation by say serif/sans-serif/display etc would be great! Otherwise this is exactly what I've been waiting for! Thank you!

Great app! But please make it Retina proof!
Dominik Levitsky
@kees_suijkerbuijk Will definitely do.

@kees_suijkerbuijk We have just released an update. Can you confirm that it fixed the bug?

@dominiklevitsky Is it correct that there isn't a settings option?
Dominik Levitsky

This font manager looks great 😊. I will download it once I'm on my PC. One thing I noticed was that on mobile there isn't a single image of how the font manager looks like - only when I hit (request desktop site.) I know this product is meant to be used on a desktop but lots of people visit from a mobile first.

Can't detect system fonts or active fonts. Fonts must be copied manually into folder. Errors since last update. Ghosty email support, otherwise Facebook for support - ie, no ticket system or other structured customer support. Cannot figure out how to login and cancel account. 2 days ago I wrote to Fontbase that I wanted to cancel my service because the product is not what I need - I got no response and instead my credit card was charged. I call BS. Maybe even fraud? They said I could cancel at any time but when I want to cancel they ignore me. So I will be forwarding my correspondence to Visa and asking them to reverse the charges, flag for erroneous use.

Pros:

Looks nice

Cons:

Can't detect system fonts. Bad customer support. Charges to credit card after account cancellation

All the issues I've found so far: 1. Only system fonts appear in the app, not the fonts I installed. 2. In previous versions, all opentype features could be modified. Why have you changed that? 3. For some reason, I cannot drag-n-drop fonts inside collections. 4. The app looks horrible in retina displays. Features I'd like to see: 1. Fonts ordered alphabetically. 2. The font weight next to font's name (e.g. Helvetica - Bold) 3. Google Fonts and/or Typekit sync. Other than that, really great product 😍 Looking forward to new updates.

@desinil Hey, some of the features are still missing in this version, because we need a bit more time to implement them with our new engine. The retina problem is now also a known issue, we are going to fix that as soon as possible. Regarding the drag-n-drop: you need to select the fonts by holding Shift and clicking on them. This is not obvious enough, I agree :( Thank you for your feedback!
