Focus Nest: Deep Work Timer - Measure attention quality, not just focus time

by
Spending 25 minutes on a task doesn't always mean 25 minutes of focus. Focus Nest is a deep work timer that measures attention consistency through Integrity Score™ - a metric that tracks how many of your focus sessions remain uninterrupted. Created by a psychologist, it's designed to help users understand their distraction patterns and build stronger focus habits over time.

Hi Product Hunt! I'm a psychologist by background, not a professional developer. The idea for Focus Nest came from a simple observation: most focus and productivity apps measure time, but time alone doesn't tell us whether we were actually focused. I became interested in a different question: how often do we truly protect our attention from distractions? That led me to create Integrity Score™ - a metric that measures the percentage of uninterrupted focus sessions over time. Over the past few months, I taught myself the tools needed to turn the idea into a real app, using Lovable and Android Studio while continuously testing and refining the experience. Focus Nest is designed for people who study, write, code, create, and want a simple way to build stronger focus habits without unnecessary complexity. I'd love to hear your thoughts, feedback, and ideas for future improvements. Thank you for checking it out!
