Would you use an AI-generated headshot on your professional profile?

Better lighting, a cleaner background, a different outfit. How much would you let AI change before a headshot stopped feeling like you?

I’m preparing to launch FocalYou on Product Hunt. It’s an iPhone and iPad app that turns one portrait into professional headshots, art portraits, and travel-inspired photo series.

For professional photos in particular, I’d love to understand where people draw the line. Would you be comfortable using a generated photo on LinkedIn or your founder page? Would changing your expression feel different from changing the background?

If you’ve tried an AI headshot tool, did any of the results actually become your profile photo? What made you use one, or decide against it?
