Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Ele, solo founder, 18 years old. I built Flustro because I use Linux and every voice dictation tool I tried either didn't work on Linux or required a cloud subscription. I got tired of being left out, so I built the thing I wanted. The hardest engineering problem was speed. whisper.cpp was giving me 50-second transcription times on my hardware. I switched to CTranslate2 with int8 quantisation and got it down to ~5 seconds. That difference is the whole product. If you're on Linux I built this specifically for you. If you're on Windows or Mac, you now have a fully offline alternative. I'd love honest feedback, especially from people who've tried Superwhisper or Wispr Flow before. What would make you switch?
