FluidCast 1.4 brings video podcast playback, Podcasting 2.0 support (chapters, seasons, host & guest credits), episode-specific cover art, and cross-library episode search — all in one place.
What sets FluidCast apart: AI-powered ad detection and skipping, built-in cloud sync across iOS, macOS, Android, Windows, Linux, and Web, and a clean interface that doesn't get in the way.
Pro users now get Folders to organise subscriptions. Free to try for your first week.
FluidCast now includes automatic ad detection and skipping using on-device Apple Intelligence, transcripts with timestamps and bookmarks, and a refreshed player focused on speed and simplicity, alongside a native iOS and Mac app with early cross-platform support for Windows, Linux, and Android.
FluidCast is a modern podcast app built to feel native, fluid, and cross-platform (in the future).
I was motivated to start this in the context of Plex Podcasts and Google Podcasts being discontinued. It felt like the podcast app space was shrinking. Most options either feel great but are locked to one platform, or work everywhere but lack polish. FluidCast aims to do both, while keeping pricing grounded.
