When's the iOS version coming out?
It's out already! Flo is available for both Android and iOS.
This is a nice one, it helps me get more mileage out of my electric car by stimulating easy acceleration and braking. Love it!
Given that I can turn off automatic tracking in the settings though, doesn't it seem inflexible to only provide "Always" and "Never"?
I am biased, but I'm liking Flo a lot. Especially when I'm not in a hurry it definitely improves my driving.
I don't see why you can't have Location Services set to "While Using" because the app doesn't track automatically for you - you have to press 'Start Trip' every time. Would definitely save battery, plus I'm paranoid that you're constantly collecting my location data in the background. I think you are, which is why the app can be free.

Hi Bryan, the iPhone app doesn't connect to the Internet (yet). So for now no data is collected. We aim to provide an online profile (like on Strava / Runkeeper etc) but of course no personal data is sold or given away to third parties. That's a no brainer. About the location tracking on the background: we do record your trips automatically. So that's why we need it.
