Hi Product Hunters! šŸ‘‹ I'm excited to share Flick Wand with you today! As a solo developer, I've been passionate about creating an app that makes phone interactions more intuitive and magical. Flick Wand transforms everyday phone tasks into gestures. Draw a pattern, and watch as your phone instantly launches apps, opens websites, or starts conversations. It's like having a magic wand in your pocket! Why Flick Wand? I believe smartphone interactions should be both efficient and fun. By combining gesture recognition with a touch of magic, the app brings a unique twist to daily phone usage. This is just the beginning - I'm working on expanding gesture support for more shortcuts and actions. Your feedback will be invaluable in shaping the future of Flick Wand. I'd love to hear your thoughts and suggestions. Feel free to ask any questions!

I tried the app, works as expected, but got me thinking that I'd start forgetting the gestures eventually, maybe you could add a button to list the gestures like a mini app drawer. Also i thought i would be able to use the gestures from the lock screen, don't know how hard it is to implement. Good luck with the product

@zenz0r Thank you so much for trying out the app and providing such valuable feedback! I really like your suggestion about adding a gesture list/drawer feature. It would indeed be helpful to have quick access to your most used or recent gestures. I'm planning to implement this in the next update. Regarding the lock screen functionality - this is an interesting idea that I'll need to investigate further. It would require additional system permissions and careful consideration of battery optimization, but I'll look into the feasibility of implementing this feature. Your feedback helps make the app better. Thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts!

@lianghan btw the magic ball keeps disappearing on me, doesn't take long, im not sure if it's something on my phone taking it down. other than that all working as expected. also used it to gain some points with the mrs, a quick call to her using a heart shaped gesture won me a kiss 🤭

@zenz0r Thank you for your feedback! I'm glad to hear that the gestures are working well for you. The heart gesture creating such magical moments - this is exactly the kind of wonderful experience I dreamed of bringing to life! 😊 Regarding the disappearing magic ball issue: This appears to be related to background app management on your device. Some phones have aggressive battery optimization settings that may force-stop apps. To help resolve this, could you please let me know your phone model? As a temporary solution, please try allowing background app usage in your device settings. Meanwhile, I'll investigate this issue further and implement a more robust solution in next update. Thanks again for sharing your experience - both the technical feedback and the sweet moment. It's wonderful to hear how the app is helping create meaningful connections! šŸ’

@zenz0r Sorry for the late reply! Here's how to fix the app disappearing issue: To fix this issue, please follow these steps: 1. Long press the app icon 2. Tap "App info" 3. Tap "Battery usage" 4. Enable "Allow background activity" I'll add a setup guide with screenshots in future versions to help users configure these settings properly. Thank you for your patience and feedback!
