Save the endless copying and pasting of addresses from Zillow to Google Maps. Findur combines both allowing you to filter listings based on commute times to all your places of interest in seconds.
Hey š My name is Husam and I'm the Founder of Findur. I built Findur to solve a problem that we faced when we were looking for our first home and it turns out we weren't the only ones.
ā”ļø The Problem Findur is addressing:
Do you ever find yourself copying and pasting addresses from ZIllow to Google Maps constantly to get commute times to your work, find the closest coffee shop etc.? The amount of time, effort, and simply headache to do it can be overwhelming outside of everything else you have to consider when looking for a new home (be it buy or rent).
ā Solution:
Findur does the heavy lifting for you allowing you to filter listings based on commute times to all your places of interest in a matter of seconds. Powered by Google Maps, you can add anything from general places to specific addresses
š Who is this useful for?
- š Relocating To A New Area: Moving the family to a new state where you need to be close to a school, a daycare, and have a manageable commute to work.
- šļø Inner City Move: Wanting to keep the same amenities nearby like a gym when moving to a home rental or different apartment.
- š§ Investment Property: Spot undervalued homes in areas with great surrounding amenities and shops.
š Features:
- Unlimited places of interest (addresses or general places like a coffee shop)
- Support for both buy and rent options
- Unlimited saved searches
- Zillow link for each listing to go view more details about the property
š³ Pricing:
- Findur right now is priced on a per-location basis (Zip Code/City). With each location, you have unlimited places of interest, unlimited saved searches, and you will always have access to your favorites.
š Thank you for taking a minute to read through. If you have any questions, feedback, or thoughts always feel free to reach out at husam@findur.io
ā³ Personal Background:
- My background is in Petroleum Engineering. I transitioned to DS building ML models and pipelines. Now I'm in the product space both building/leading software.
- This has been a solo endeavor for about ~2.5 years now so I feel grateful to even have the opportunity to post in a community like this.
@frida_sp Thank you for taking a minute to read through! Right now Findur only supports US listings. However I plan on working with brokers in other regions to tie into the platform at some time into the future
@husam_rahman Thanks for the answer, I'll definitely give it a try when I move :) (And we just launched a little while ago, so if you have time, we'd love to have you support us š)
@psd Thank you š All features are live, including saved search, and can be tested out using the free trial. Here is a link to a full demo of the app for reference. https://www.loom.com/share/57f71.... Let me know if you have any other questions š

Congratulations on the successful launch of your new product, it's truly impressive.š„³
Looks great, the gif on the website looks kinda blurry, but do I understand correctly that you are able to specify things that you'd like to have near your house, and houses in close proximity to such places will be shown to me?
@bob_laffman Appreciate the feedback. I'll get higher-quality gifs to replace the existing ones. You're close. You specify all your places of interest (address, general place etc.) first. Then in the results page, you can filter down all the listings based on the commute times to them using sliders in the filters area.
That provides you full control of how close or far you want to be from those places of interest.
For example:
- 10 minutes from a local coffee shop
- 20 minutes at most to work
- 5 minutes walking to a dog park
- 15 minutes from a religious center
Let me know if you have any other questions
