We built findloc because finding a trustworthy local tradie or professional in NZ usually means scrolling through outdated directories or asking around. findloc puts everyone on one map — switch between a card grid, a compact list, or a live map, tap "Near me" to see who's actually closest, and call or save your favourites without digging through a dozen tabs. It's completely free to browse and free to list for now; we'll only add paid promotion once there's real traffic.

Hey PH 👋 Re-launching with a much bigger US footprint than v1. Quick context: we built findloc.ai because every local business owner I talked to was anxious about the same thing — "my customers are asking ChatGPT, not Google. Am I in the answer?" So I built the answer. We probe ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini every week with 15 real customer-search queries across 100 US cities and 7 verticals (dentist, lawyer, HVAC, med spa, wedding venue, hotel, motel). The output is a public leaderboard: who shows up, who doesn't, who's climbing. What's uncomfortable: in most markets, only 5–6 local businesses get mentioned. The same names. Everyone else is invisible to AI search.
