Hey Product hunt community, my name is Luka!Hey Product Hunt 👋 Luka here I’m a software engineer and I invest long term. Nothing fancy, I just put a % of my income into stocks (mostly ETFs) and check it from time to time. I’m definitely not a trader. For a long time I used Google Finance because it’s simple. But one thing always annoyed me, when you sell something, the history is kind of gone. You don’t really see what actually happened over time. I tried other apps too. Some are really powerful, but honestly they felt too complex for what I need. Too many features, too much UI, and sometimes even basic things like seeing your real return are behind a paywall. So I built something for myself. Finance 2049 is just a simple portfolio tracker for long-term investors. Nothing more. It shows your cost basis, real profit, full history of your trades, and basic analytics in a clean way. You can also import your transactions from files or even screenshots. Also, your data stays on your device. No accounts, no cloud. And it’s free and open source! I didn’t build this to replace trading platforms. Just wanted a calm place to understand my portfolio. Would really appreciate if you try it and tell me what you think 🙏
