@jonbstrong Final is a collaboration tool for video and audio files whereas Dropbox would come under a file sharing service. The advantage of final is that you get feedback on your video right in one place

@bobbyisac Dropbox offers exactly the same collaboration feature though (check the link I mentioned) in addition to their file sharing capabilities. So once again, what’s the advantage of using final over Dropbox?

@jonbstrong hey, I checked out the link you shared. Right now, Dropbox doesn't allow you to track changes and resolve them. Also, we'll be adding more features and differentiation in the coming versions

The pain is real when you're getting a video made and it needs collaboration. In today's time with distributed teams everywhere, the need for something like this is so evident. Now, I can't imagine myself commenting on a script in word or excel. Kudos to the team :)

Looks great but I don't think clients will like needing to sign up or use a Google account to watch an edit or give feedback... They are too used to private Vimeo links which let you watch instantly.

Yes, I’ve used it before. final is also for videos. And we are focusing more on the editing workflow than the publishing workflow
