Before launch day I wanted a real job for the app, not a demo. So I took one 30-item checklist to three supermarkets on National Route 17 in Saitama, just north of Tokyo, and photographed every price tag: 124 photos.
Each photo landed on its item as I took it. The three exports (a CSV and the photos each) went to Claude, which read the tags and converted the prices so they compare fairly: per potato, per 100g of coffee, per 2 fillets. The same jar of Nescaf Gold Blend 120g was 862 at one store and 1,295 at another.
For site work that means a photo of every item on a list. Tap the camera on a row and the photo lands on that item, already named. Export one ZIP: a CSV, every photo in order, and a README with AI prompts. No account, no cloud. First 2 projects free.
