I wanted to have a way to validate the ideas I have for my upcoming videos on YouTube but wasn't quite finding a tool for what I wanted. I needed a ranking, the ability for my audience to vote and also suggest new ideas, and a way for them to see, in real time, how the ideas were ranking.
That's when I decided to create Fanlist. Currently, I plan to use it for my channel FreeRangeTesters, but I’m keen to have other content creators giving it a go and providing feedback.

Okay, so here’s a fun idea: What’s even cooler than knowing what your audience loves from you as a content creator? Giving them something back for it!
When I was designing Fanlist, I had this thought: wouldn’t it be awesome if there was a Store where your audience could use the points they earn by voting and suggesting awesome content ideas? Think of all the cool stuff they could get: Coupons, shoutouts in videos, 1:1 calls, you name it! You get to be the creative genius and add whatever you think would be a fantastic reward. Let your audience show their appreciation by spending their points on discounts and goodies!
Give your goodies a catchy title, tell a bit about them, let them know how many are available, and decide whether to make them public or keep them private until you’re ready to share them with your community!
