FamilyOps - Make invisible work a teamwork.

by
FamilyOps is a household operating system that makes the invisible work of family life visible. Most families aren't overwhelmed by tasks — they're overwhelmed by the constant knowing, remembering, and anticipating that lives in someone's head. FamilyOps maps that weight: who carries what, where it accumulates, and how to find relief. It doesn't track chores. It doesn't rank partners. It reveals structure — so families can finally see their life, share it, and make it lighter. Together.

Hey everyone, I'm Bertrand, founder of FamilyOps. I built this because I live the problem. My son is three and has Cerebral Palsy. When he was born, my partner and I didn't think about "systems" or "mental load" — we thought about love. What we discovered was how heavy family life becomes when care is constant, unpredictable, and invisible. Therapies. Appointments. Paperwork. The endless anticipating. And most of it living silently in our heads — never on a to-do list, never acknowledged, never fairly shared. I realized we weren't struggling because we lacked effort. We were struggling because the structure of our life was invisible. And you can't share what you can't see. So I built FamilyOps. It's not a task manager. It's not a chore app. It's a household operating system that maps who carries what — the constant knowing, remembering, anticipating that exhausts families long before the actual doing. If you've ever felt like you're carrying more than anyone sees, FamilyOps was built for you. Would love your feedback. And happy to answer any questions about the product, the philosophy, or the journey. — Bertrand
