If someone had to call for help for you, what would they need to know first?
Family Ready: Emergency Plan launches here on 7 November. I'm one of the makers.
The core of the app is a free Emergency Card: who to call first, allergies, current medications and important health information, saved on your iPhone so it opens without internet once the phone is unlocked. Emergency Mode is a high-contrast, large-text screen with no ads, pop-ups or purchase prompts, and the card never needs a subscription. You can make one for yourself, a child, a parent or someone you care for, with their permission.
A question for parents and anyone caring for an older relative: if a neighbour, babysitter or paramedic had to act for your family in the next five minutes, what's the one thing they'd most need to know that isn't written down anywhere today?
