Hi, I do very much believe that business success must reward all companies’ stakeholders and allow everyone to contribute anytime. Process should be flawless and fluid. This is really cool. Love the idea and congrats on the launch! We were looking at wefunder as a crowdsource platform and decided against it for a number of reasons but mostly because we heard from other founders how difficult it was to get all the necessary follow ups, i.e. tax IDs, personal information, and even the actual cash investment. How does Fairmint help with that sort of stuff? Few other questions... Is there a min investment or do the companies decide that? Does it create a huge cap table with all the individual investors? Who created the video?! It's so good!!

Hey Justin! With Fairmint investors provide everything at the moment they want to invest. They don't wait for the round to close. There is also incentive to get in fast because you can raise the valuation at anytime.

Re: "available beyond the US": people around the world already have access to any company using Fairmint tech. They can earn equity or invest money. Super easily. Now for companies, our product is designed for US C-Corp. That said, multiple lawyers in Europe and now in Asia started to work on making Fairmint available there as well ;-) In the meantime, we have great examples of founders with entities outside of the US who incorporated in the US and leveraged our tech ;-)

Thanks a lot Etienne! Right now we're laser-focused on the US market but, being french founders, opening France would be dear to our heart. We'll need more funding though :P Right now, best option to use Fairmint is by far to flip your company in the US :)

How do you set the business logic of $ to equity? Specifically who sets the valuation?

Companies can utilize an automated bonding curve to price their tokens according to demand! The company can also choose to manually control their valuation, and therefore the price of their equity tokens, just as founders negotiate and accept different prices when doing paper SAFEs today! thanks so much for the quick reply. So just to confirm companies can set their own valuation and how much they're looking to raise and basically its up to investors to invest (validate) or not invest (invalidate) based on their belief in the company. i.e. the investor base / market regulates itself.

If we created a 10x better experience with equity, we don't change the decision-making process and founders still decide on their allocation and its valuation
