After learning of the Major System mnemonic and using it to memorize things like my credit cards and bank accounts, I had the idea to optimize it with software. That was the inception of Ezmonic. The Major System mnemonic involves coming up with words that have sounds that map to numbers. If you want to remember a long number, like 3.141592653, then you break it into smaller numbers that you can map to words. For example, 3 maps to the "M" sound and 1 maps to the "T" sound. So 31 can be remembered with the word "MEAT". You can then string several words together into a story that becomes easier to remember than the numbers. A good mnemonic would use the fewest number of words. But coming up with a word that uses a large quantity of numbers is difficult. That's why I decided to build Ezmonic.
