Why do Windows monitor controls feel stuck in the early 2000s? 🖥️

by

Hey tech community! 👋

As an engineer and developer, I spend most of my life looking at multi-monitor setups. I’ve noticed that while hardware and GPUs have advanced massively, the way we control our screens natively on Windows is still completely clunky.

We are still forced to click physical, annoying monitor buttons to change settings, or deal with legacy software utilities that bloat our RAM, collect tracking data, or break our workflow UI.

I got tired of this and spent the last few months coding an ultra-lightweight, native solution (<20MB) with intelligent cursor tracking and 0% telemetry to control independent displays seamlessly.

Before we officially launch it here in about an hour, I wanted to ask the community: What is your biggest frustration when managing multiple monitors or display calibration on Windows? Is it the UI, the performance impact, or the lack of independent control?

Let's discuss! 👇
