Does the picture stay smooth when im scrolling through long sites or watching longer youtube sessions, or does the frame rate drop on the external display?
@zlemncel104573 The picture if very smooth, and if you're using a wired connection the frame rate is as much as the video/monitor supports. And it even works with 4K displays of any size. I've tested it with foldable side by side displays, ultra-wide monitors etc.

The full-screen experience with no black bars is a really thoughtful touch, especially for someone who uses a portable monitor regularly. Love that it handles camera and mic passthrough too.
@balkabakib78558 That's a big use case indeed. The app even supports manually rotating the camera from the status bar, so you don't have to manually rotate your iPad or iPhone :D

Finally got full screen YouTube on my portable monitor with no black bars, which alone makes this worth it. Mouse and keyboard support feels smooth enough for actual browsing rather than a gimmick.
@sefa3n8y You're right, the YouTube experience was a big focus, and it took a while to get right but it's the best there is, rivaling only actual desktops :)

Does this need a wired connection or does it work over AirPlay to the external display? Curious how it handles latency for things like video calls and whether the camera actually feeds back into apps like Zoom properly.
@erayoluvqdy It works with both, but wired connection is instant while AirPlay can be very good too if your local network is fast enough. Yes, the camera feeds perfectly on apps like zoom, you can use the website version of it and install it as an app in the dock, then the camera and mic will work seamlessly.
Does this work over a wired connection, or only wireless like AirPlay? Curious how the latency compares for stuff like mouse movement and video calls.
@meltem5zog It works both on wired and AirPlay, latency is basically exactly the same as your iPhone/iPad. If you're using AirPlay, you're obviously gonna have a latency hit, but that's again, exactly the same as just mirroring your iPhone via AirPlay without the app. Video calls have very good support and the app even allows you to rotate the camera input so you don't have to physically rotate your device.
