I saw this on Hacker News and downloaded it on linux. These offline games vs. top AI opponents provide a great way to practice metalearning, i.e. "learning how to learn" techniques. The AI opponents are tough, for example you play chess and go vs. open source versions of the world champion code Alpha Zero. However you can adjust AI strength so it plays at a human level.
