How do you work with non-profits? Are these one time sales, or do they have an ongoing relationship with esolidar? Do you simply provide the technology, or do you help them run their campaigns and find products/services to offer?
@pt Yes, that is our priority. We provide an ongoing relationship with non-profits.
That is part of our mission and value proposition.
By the way, we received a new testimonial from a charity today.
Here is what they said (translated from Portuguese):
"The eSolidar platform has helped a lot Vencer Autism charity to raise funds very effectively and in a short time. Just only bet on constant dissemination and people adhere very well. Initially, I did not believe it was going so well, but the truth is that we have had many requests for purchases of our products.
In addition, the eSolidar team is tremendously effective, proactive and is always trying to follow our process closely and to give very useful advices. Could not be more pleased. I advise all organizations that are interested in raising funds to invest in the eSolidar platform."
What differentiates you from crowdfunding platforms that target the general public? In other words, why do thee non-profits work with you instead of existing larger platforms?
@pt This is about an ongoing crowdfunding where the community can help within a win-win business model, by thinking we-commerce.
In other words, usual crowdfunding platforms are about making donations until reach a goal. But, in esolidar, we provide new fundraising ways where every purchase makes a difference. Here, everyone can sell items and choose a percentage that benefits a cause, buy products from charities (handcrafts made by them or merchandising), make bids on celebrities’ auctions, make direct donations or ask for volunteering opportunities on the favourite causes.
This is not only about making donations for a goal like a traditional social crowdfunding platform. Is about creating an ecosystem where everyone can contribute for charitable causes in new and different ways.
@marvinliao Thank you, Marvin. We are from Portugal, naturally growing also in Brazil, but we aim to start our expansion strategy within the next 3 months. We just want to make sure it works in such a difficult market as Portugal, to have a proof of concept, and then go global.
eSolidar is a global giving marketplace that allows people to shop, sell and donate to their favourite charitable causes. Great product and a great team, making a real impact.
