I built ERC because I got tired of the same frustrating loop: Google "engagement rate calculator," click a result, get hit with a login wall, then a paywall - just to divide two numbers.

Every tool I found either wanted my email, required connecting my social accounts, or hid basic features behind a subscription. All I needed was to plug in likes + comments + followers and see my rate compared to current benchmarks. That's it.

So I built exactly that. ERC is:

Actually free - no premium tier, no "unlock more features" upsell
No signup - no email, no account, no OAuth. Just open it and use it.
Private - all math happens in your browser. Zero data leaves your device.

Mobile-friendly - works perfectly on phone since that's where most creators check stats
I update the benchmarks regularly so "good" and "average" actually reflect what's happening in 2026, not outdated 2022 data that most blog posts still reference.

Built it as a solo dev with Astro + React, hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Fast, lightweight, no bloat.
