It’s been a busy few months at Kona. We got a lot of love and learnings from our last ProductHunt launch. I’m happy to say we’ve finally built all the features managers asked for! 🖥 Shiny new web dashboard for better health visualization and alerts. 📈 Insightful trends like team comparisons, individual deep dives, and more. 💼 Support for departments, so you and your boss and your boss’ boss can enjoy. 👯‍♀️ Kona Friends lets you stay updated on folks outside your direct team. 📆 Better support for 1:1s to save you time and help you help your teammates. We had a lot of growing to do since our last launch. Our first version was slower and clunkier, without much support for departments. Now we’re finally at a place where we can make cultural change at entire organizations and companies. That’s super exciting! I’m forever grateful for our growing team and for all the folks who supported us every step of the way. We couldn’t have gotten here without working closely with teams at Greenhouse, Coffee Meets Bagel, Happy Money, The Athletic, Postscript, and more. To thank this awesome community, we’re giving 20% department-wide plans for a year. Just use the coupon code PEOPLEFIRST when upgrading your plan or mention this deal to us during your demo. Let us know what you think of Kona 2.0! We’re thrilled to make teams happier and healthier. Cheers, Sid
Congrats on the launch, and 🙌
Impressive growth and iteration. Kudos to the team!
Congrats on the launch! Already a great response from the Launchpad team at M13. So clean, great onboarding!
Congrats on your launch. Looks pretty good.
way to go on 2.0!
wow, this is so cool! congrats on the launch and looking forward to using it
Thanks so much, Rahul! Love what you're doing with Cohere:)
I love the custom emojis! Never seen the lolsob before, very much a mood nowadays :,)
Just as relevant as ever.
Kona has come so far from the early days of just the three of you running around Startup UCLA with a barebones slack app. The UI looks so clean, and now that we're growing our team soon, Pearl is definitely going to start using it! Every team is going to need a Kona. (Btw ?makers I'm still waiting on the plushie merch store)
Haha, it's been a fun journey so far! Just the beginning for us and for Pearl :) Glad to hear y'all are growing the team, and excited to hear more feedback on Kona!
It was so much fun running into you at UCLA! We promise there's a plushie in your not-too-too-distant future ;)
Stellar team! Congrats on all the progress
Thanks so so much, Caitlin! It's been such a crazy ride.
As someone who just started a job where half the team is remote, I see the incredible value of a transparent and empathetic culture where everyone, even those far away, feels welcome and understood. I’ve had the honor to witness the team’s failures, growth, and continuous grit since its beginning in 2018 — and I am so excited for the future of Kona!! 🐶
We're so lucky to have you supporting us every step of the way, Alex. Keep being amazing. The world needs more of you<3
such a cool product! love the simplicity, thoughtfulness, and fun in Kona, excited about the mission to build a healthier + empathetic work culture
Thanks so much Daniela! It's intended to be really simple, so I'm glad it comes across that way too. Appreciate the support!
congrats on the launch — kona 2.0 looks amazing, super eager to try it out!
Thanks a lot! Fun fact - we use Cohere at Kona, and are absolutely loving it.
Love the new design - excited to see this be used at more companies & orgs :)
Thanks a ton! Yes, after 1.0 we saw a ton of inbound from orgs, which was why we decided to support org-wide rollouts better. Appreciate the support!
Well designed and purposeful, Kona 2.0 seems to be the timely gift for all managers! Can’t wait to use it!
Thanks Tiger! Love your name by the way!
