Studying retail, I noticed that music was incongruent with the customer, the messages in the lyrics were random, the styles were hit or miss with customer taste and the music was likely more off-putting and harming sales rather than supporting them. I started researching - turns out musical parameters mapped directly to customer behavior. But only a few had been studied. We launched to provide better music to retail, music that supports sales and gets smarter over time.
