So we asked a simple question: **What if AI was built more like a mind than a model?** That question led us down a completely different path. Instead of focusing only on larger language models, we began building cognitive layers: episodic memory, causal graphs, world modeling, mental simulation, concept formation, analogy engines, scientific reasoning, and cross-domain transfer mechanisms. Over time, Elyana evolved from a conversational assistant into an experimental cognitive architecture capable of forming abstractions, running what-if simulations, discovering patterns, and recalling learned structures without always relying on the language model itself. The current launch is only the beginning. Elyana is still evolving, and there is a long road ahead.
