I ve been building El Ni o, a native iPhone app that turns live NOAA climate data into a clear view of what is happening across the tropical Pacific.

Instead of showing only an El Ni o or La Ni a label, the app explains the current signal, its strength and direction, confidence, key drivers and similar periods from the historical record. It is designed for people following climate, agriculture, energy, commodities and insurance who want to understand the evidence without digging through scientific reports and raw datasets.
