Hi Product Hunt 👋
I'm Randy Rebucas, and I built eGuard at DevCom Digital Marketing Services.
The problem: most parental control apps stop at "Saved." But a setting can be saved and still not be on your child's phone. The phone was offline when the change went out, an update reset a permission, or someone quietly switched it off. From the parent's side, nothing looks different.
What eGuard does differently: it only marks a setting as done once the child's device confirms it. If a device reports something else, you see Failed, along with what the device actually has. If a setting changes later, or a device stops checking in, you get an alert.
What you can set up today:
Screen time limits, with a separate weekend limit
Bedtime, every night or school nights only
App approval, per-app limits and age ratings
Web filtering, download approval and uninstall protection
Location sharing, with history off unless you turn it on
Configuration Health: one score per child from 10 checks. It measures settings, never your child's behavior.
On privacy: eGuard never reads messages, photos or browsing content. It shows no ads and sells no data, and activity is deleted automatically after 90 days.
We built it for families in the Philippines first, with prices in pesos and payment by GCash, Maya, card or QR Ph. It's free for one child, no card needed.
Where we are: the parent dashboard and Android app is live on the web now. The iOS apps are coming soon.
I'd love your feedback on two things:
Which protection do you trust least in the parental control apps you've used?
What would make you confident a setting is really working?
I'll be here all day answering questions. Thanks for checking it out 🙏

I don't have children myself, but often feel my nieces spend so much if not too much time on their phones and tablets. This could be the tool to help their parents manage this better. Best of luck with today's launch.
