Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'll be straight with you - EarthLive.TV is essentially the Yellow Pages of live webcams. We curate and organise live streams from around the world by country and interest category, with original descriptions written for every listing. Right now streams are primarily YouTube embeds, but the goal is to accept any source - YouTube, RTSP, direct streams - basically if it's live and it's pointed at something interesting, it belongs on EarthLive.TV. The biggest challenge isn't finding webcams - there are thousands out there. It's keeping the database alive. Streams go offline, channels get deleted, URLs change. Building something that detects and handles that automatically is the hard problem we're working on. The vision is simple - at least one live webcam in every country on Earth, submitted by anyone, hosted anywhere. Think SkylineWebcams meets Wikipedia - community built, always live, always free.
