Duratum - Document expiry reminders, and a renewal guide for each

Nobody writes to tell you your residence permit is about to expire. No government does it. And the one time it matters, you're already late — paying a fine, losing status, or waiting three months for an appointment that had to be booked before you knew you needed it. Therefore, i got this idea of building a web app with the mission to make people lifes easier. Duratum does two things. It keeps your expiry dates in one list and tells you when to START, not when the date arrives. Starting is the part people get wrong—a German passport needs about 42 days of runway, a residence permit far more. And every document has a renewal guide: the authority that actually handles it, what it costs, what to bring, how far ahead to begin. 3,600 guides across 242 countries, written from published rules with the source pages cited so you can check them yourself. The part I'd defend hardest is that it stores nothing. Photograph a passport and it reads the printed expiry date and forgets everything else — no name, no number, no image kept. There's no account and no password, because a service that reminds you about documents has no business holding a database of who owns which documents. That decision cost me features. I'd make it again. Where it's weak, honestly: it's three weeks old. Of the 3,600 guides, around 660 cite no official source yet — those are marked on the page so you can tell, and they're next on the list. And it's a web app, no native app. If you've ever missed a renewal, I'd like to know what the near-miss was. That's what tells me which guides to fix first.
