Hi Product Hunt, I'm Magnus and I made DunkerBrew.
I brew about twice a month. My setup was a spreadsheet for the recipe, some website for water salts, and the notes app on my phone on brew day, and every batch I retyped the same numbers into all three. Then the brewing app I paid for moved a feature I used up a tier. That was the push.
DunkerBrew is those three things in one place. The recipe designer updates OG, FG, ABV, IBU, SRM and mash pH while you type, against the 104 BJCP styles. It works out water chemistry and salt additions. On brew day it gives you strike and sparge numbers and runs the timer. After that: fermentation logs, inventory, tap lists, and bottle labels that print with a QR code back to the recipe.
43 of the calculators are stand-alone pages that need no account. There's reference data too, on 474 yeasts, 187 malts and 126 hops.
It's free. No paywall, no tiers, no ads, and nothing turns up in your inbox trying to sell you the next version. It runs in any browser and installs like an app. I host it in the EU, and it doesn't follow you around the internet.
It's a hobby project and it has rough edges. If you brew, tell me which number looks wrong to you. That's nearly always where the bug turns out to be.
