How to actually remember to drink water at work
Most people don't forget water because they don't care. They forget because the reminder arrives at the wrong moment or logging is a chore. What tends to work:
1. Use one bottle you already carry, and learn its size. "Two of these by lunch" is easier than counting millilitres.
2. Tie drinking to things you already do: after each meeting, each coffee, each bathroom break.
3. Only get reminders during your working hours, and not right after you've just had a drink.
4. Make logging one tap, including the half bottle you didn't finish.
5. Track pace, not perfection: "on pace" or "a little behind" by mid-afternoon is enough.
That's how Dropkin works: save your bottle once with its real capacity, then log it whole, half or a quarter in one tap. Reminders only arrive during your hours, go quiet when you're on pace and stop at your goal. Apple Watch and widgets are included. Free, offline, no account.
What's your trick for remembering?
