I'm Luís, a solo founder from Portugal. I built Dream and Trip because planning a trip always meant the same mess: an AI chat for ideas, a spreadsheet for the budget, Google Maps tabs everywhere, bookings buried in email, and a WhatsApp group where every decision went to die. Nothing connected the dream phase to the travel phase to the remember phase. So I built the thing I wanted: one place that carries a trip from first idea to lasting memory. 🧠 Plan it in minutes A 5-step wizard asks how you actually travel — solo or with friends, chill or packed days, food or museums — and the AI (powered by Claude) generates a day-by-day itinerary with real places, plotted on an interactive map. Don't like day 3? Regenerate it. Everything is editable: drag, drop, add your own finds. 🗺️ Everything in one place Each trip is modular — turn on only what you need: flights (with a comparator that scores combinations for your group), accommodation, reservations, documents, checklists, a travel journal, and group chat. Traveling with friends? Invite them in; everyone sees the same plan. 💶 Budgets that don't ruin friendships Track expenses in any currency, split them fairly, and settle up with the minimum number of transfers. The math is tested so nobody argues over who owes €4.37. ✈️ Works where you travel It's a PWA: save a trip for offline and your itinerary, bookings and documents work on the plane or in that alley with no signal. Plus an AI travel assistant that knows your trip and answers "what should we do tomorrow morning near the hotel?" 📸 And when you're back This is my favorite part: turn photos and videos into a Recap — the AI writes your trip's story, and you get a beautiful public page to share with anyone. Trips shouldn't end when the flight lands.
