Draivu - Drive files that tag along as floating sticky notes

by
Most Drive tools mean switching tabs. Draivu keeps files floating right where you're working, pin them as draggable sticky notes, search full-text without opening anything, snip a screenshot of the page you're on, upload files straight from your device, share instantly, and anchor files to specific pages so they resurface automatically when you come back.

Hey! Founder here. This started with something dumb; my girlfriend was a few feet away on her own laptop, and I wanted to show her two pictures. Ten seconds of walking over felt like more interruption than the moment deserved, but every actual option (WhatsApp Web, Discord, emailing myself a screenshot) felt built for something way bigger than "here, look at this." So, I built a way to snip anything on screen, or drop a local file, straight into my own Drive without leaving the tab, then hand her access in two clicks. It kept showing up in other forms too, I'd have notes open in a Doc during a client call, switch tabs to pull something else up, and lose them. So, I patched that in click a file open, and it floats as its own sticky note on top of whatever page you're on, following you tab to tab instead of disappearing. Both felt like two-minute problems, not "build a whole tool" problem. But two minutes, six times a day, for months, stops feeling small. One decision I never reconsidered: it had to be serverless. No backend of mine between you and your files, nothing to leak. You import what you actually need, on purpose, not your whole Drive dumped in on install. Been my daily driver for 5 months now. Would love to hear what you think, and what's still clunky for you.
